Cultural legacy preservation for stronger Belarus

MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) The preservation of cultural legacy objects contributes to stronger statehood. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he met with UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova on 18 April, BelTA has learned. The head of state pointed out the importance of preserving cultural legacy objects.

Belarus bans pork import from Latvia
MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) Belarus has imposed a ban on the import of pork from Latvias regions Dagda, Kraslava and Zilupe, BelTA learned from the department for veterinary and food supervision at the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus. According to the World Organization for Animal Health, cases of classical swine fever were detected in a number of Latvian municipalities. More
