Minsk to host international forum Bank IT’08 November 26-27

The 5th international forum Bank IT’08 will be held in Minsk on November 26-27, BelTA learnt in the sci-tech association Infopark.
The main goal of the forum is to share experience of development and promotion of the up-to-date technologies in the Belarusian finance-credit area, to improve its efficiency on the base of using domestic and foreign information-communication technologies.
The international forum Bank IT’08 will discuss the use of innovation solutions and introduction of information technologies to improve the efficiency of the finance-credit system of Belarus. The forum will analyze the world tendencies of the specialized IT-solutions in this area, the coordination of cooperation of all the sides concerned in efficient introduction of IT in the finance-credit area. Participants of the gathering will also discuss the integration and transition of information systems to new platforms.
Attending the forum will be heads of banking and finance establishments and their subdivisions, specialists in information technologies area, representatives of companies – developers of information technologies and software solutions for the finance-credit area, representatives of the state companies and organizations concerned.
The forum Bank IT’08 will include a plenary session and a specialized exhibition. The exhibition will feature a wide range of the up-to-date software solutions for informatization of the finance-credit area.
A number of international and foreign companies will take part in the forum Bank IT’08.
The forum has been organized by the National Bank of Belarus, the sci-tech association Infopark, the Association of Belarusian Banks and the Infopark-project Company.
The forum will be held under the auspices of the Permanent Commission for the Monetary Policy and Banking Activity of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, the Operational-Analytical Centre of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Administration of the Belarus High-Tech Park, the Belarus Ministry of Communications and Informatization, the national public association “Information Society”, banking and other organizations.
