MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – The Information Analysis Center for Nuclear Power Development will be set up in the United Energy and Nuclear Research Institute Sosny of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB), First Deputy Chairman of the NASB Presidium Piotr Vityaz told a research conference in Minsk on 11 March, BelTA has learnt.
At present, new equipment is being installed in the center. “We have installed the supercomputer which will allow us to form the database which will contain all the information about the development of the nuclear power industry in Belarus and all over the world. All our customers will be provided with this information,” Piotr Vityaz said.
Piotr Vityaz noted that the National Academy of Sciences has two up-to-date centers (Giatsint, Yalina) to train specialists for the future Belarusian nuclear power plant.
