MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) - CIS observers will visit a number of Belarusian regions this week, BelTA learnt from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
CIS long-term observers are set to visit Brest, Grodno, Vitebsk, Mogilev and Minsk Oblasts. Representatives of the CIS countries will attend sessions of the district and city election commissions, which will sum up the results of the signature collection campaign.
Currently, the CIS mission includes 44 observers, 40 of whom are long-term observers. These are representatives of the CIS Executive Council, diplomats of the CIS countries accredited in Minsk, and officials of the Secretariat of the Union State.
