MINSK, 2 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has decreed the commendation of 16 Belarusians representing various fields of activity, including athletes, coaches, employees of the National State TV and Radio Company, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service.
Those commended by the President include senior coach of the national freestyle team of Belarus Vasily Vorobyev, chief of the team and senior coach of the national freestyle team Anatoly Pastukhov, senior coach of the national biathlon team Alexander Ustinov.
Yuri Vorobyev, Head of the Minsk and Minsk Oblast office of the DOSAAF Voluntary Association for Assistance to Army, Aviation and Fleet, was commended for his exemplary service and a significant contribution to the development of technical, aviation, and applied military sports, patriotic and physical education of the youth.
Alexander Lukashenko issued a commendation for three journalists. They are special correspondents of the National State TV and Radio Company Natalia Zharkevich and Natalia Martseleva, news analyst of the First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio Yelena Shvaiko.
