MINSK, 9 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian News Agency BelTA has opened a Spanish version of its website – www.belta.by/es.
A necessity for the Spanish version of the website was driven by the advancement of Internet technologies and the growing interest in Belarus in the world, expansion of business and cultural contacts with the non-CIS countries and with Latin America, in particular.
The website provides basic data on the most important developments and interesting events in the country, including in the state administration and government, foreign policy and economy. It is full, operative and true information on the Republic of Belarus for Spanish-speaking users.
BelTA delivers live news coverage in Belarusian, Russian, English, German and Spanish through its web page. The news agency daily provides 150 to 200 news items covering the major political, social, economic, cultural and sports events in the country.
